OK, So -- Sue Ailsby kind of "re-wrote" her training levels. There is only 4 levels now, but there are a lot of steps in each level.
I ran Peanut through quite a few of them today - and she did freakin awesome.
I know no-one is reading this - but I am so PROUD od my girl!
Level 1
Zen
Steps 1,2,3,4 & 5 Moves from treat in hand, away from treat (closed hand) for 5 seconds, (open hand) for 5 seconds, stays away from treat in own dog bowl, practice different places. CHECK!~
Sit Steps 1,2,3 & 4 (Step 5 requires other people) Sit with Leash OFF, Sit with hand signal ONLY, Sits with leash on, Sits by open door. CHECK!~
Target Steps 1,2,3 & 4 (Step 5 requires other Places)Touches hand with Nose, touches hand High and Low, Takes 3 steps to touch hand (she did 5-7) Dog touches hand twice before treat... CHECK!~
Down Steps 1,2,3 & 4 Dog downs, no leash, with hand signal, with trainer seated, Relearns those 3 steps with Leash on! CHECK!~
HomeWork List five things that you hope to accomplish by working the Levels with your dog.
1. Better Bond - relationship with my dog
2. Give her more confidence
3. Make me a better trainer
4. Have her work Happily at the Greg Derrett seminar - week of Thanksgiving
5. Have her be able to compete in agility
